Task Force 2010
"Gathering of Words"
Dear Church
Family:
The Elders
have assembled a task force specifically charged with the assignment of helping
them collect input which will engage us as a body in corporately
discerning the heart and mind of the Lord for New Covenant Christian Church.
The first task the Elders have asked of us is to gather from the body any
prophetic words, burdens, leadings, passions and visions that might help move
this process forward.
We are asking
you to prayerfully consider sharing what the Lord has spoken to you. This might
include words given to this congregation in the past which continue to stand out
to you, as well as anything you are currently hearing that might help us move
forward at this time. The intent is that all these words will be compiled and
processed together with the elders.
Our mission
is to move as quickly as we can to "gather up the words" that the Lord has given
and is giving to the body at New Covenant. Accordingly, we are asking you to
present whatever you feel is appropriate after weighing those words and gaining
confidence that what you are sharing is from Him. The desire of the Elders is
to increase in both hearing and activation as a body.
These past or present words of prophecy, exhortation, or discernment, as well as
leadings, passions, and visions from the Lord should be submitted to the Task
Force along with your name and contact information. We have selected three
methods through which you can communicate your input:
1.

(recommended and preferred method).
2.
You may complete the
hard-copy form and forward it directly to a task force member.
3.
You may complete the
hard-copy form and forward it to the church office where it will be directed to
the task force.
We are asking
that you give your input no later than Sunday, March 7. Thank you for your
faithfulness to the Lord and your attention to this request.
