What they Do
Nobonob
materials - these are the teaching materials Jan and Hilary created in the
Nobonob language

Kodah and Itbam recording some of the scripture so
that people can hear it out in their village. The Lutherans have scripture
verses for each Sunday of the year and they try to record the scripture for each
Sunday so the older people who can't get to church can hear it.
Each
year, Jan bakes Christmas cookies with her friends from the nearby villages.
This is a picture of her and Kodah (friend from the village)

Hilary

The
entire TPPS class. "TPPS" means: 'Tokples Pre-skul' or the pre-school where they
learn their native language. "Tokples" (talk-place) is the pidgin (PNG trade
language) term for the mother tongue of a given area
